Description
Build hand control and spatial precision by connecting a series of dots with crisp, straight lines. This exercise trains the shoulder-driven action and "point-to-point" focus required for decisive sketching.
Steps
- Observe the red dots placed randomly on the canvas.
- Ghost the line between two dots by moving your arm above the surface without touching.
- Commit the stroke by joining two dots in one continuous, swift movement.
- Continue until all dots are connected, forming a network of straight lines.
- Use the Check icon to reveal the green target lines and evaluate your accuracy.
Tips
- Draw from your shoulder, not your wrist — your whole arm should move
- Prioritise confidence over precision
- Avoid sloppy repetitive strokes; each line is one committed movement
- Work swiftly; the warm-up should feel energized, not meticulous
